El Telar de Miguel Martí: a project designed exclusively with MDi by Inalco

El Telar de Miguel Martí is an old 12th century textile mill in a unique historical setting, surrounded by vegetation. It has been restored by the team of Valencia chef, Miguel Martí, in order to transform it into Valencia’s most exclusive venue for events.

Thanks to its unparalleled location, in rural surroundings close to the city, and its immediately perceptible tranquillity and restful harmony, El Telar is all set to become a highly popular venue for hosting  private events of all kinds.

It also stands out for the top-quality materials used throughout. Different SSC (Special Service for Customers) collections were custom-developed for the design project, based solely and exclusively on the use of MDi surfaces by Inalco.

These SSC collections highlight the versatility of the designs that Inalco offers, from bespoke formats to new finishes fully tailored to meet clients’ needs.

On guests’ arrival at El Telar de Miguel Martí, they first come into contact with a huge garden presided over by the Petra collection in four modular formats. This area–made up of a big covered terrace and a space with a pool, designed with a bespoke collection–is the perfect setting for ceremonies and small cocktail parties, accompanied, for instance, by live music.

As for the interiors, the first room that guests encounter is the main lobby, where the Umbra collection in modular formats takes pride of place in a chill-out area that links up with all the other rooms.

This pleasant area leads into the Telar Room, a large space that exudes a mix of history, tradition and innovation, with the Petra collection as the main wall and floor covering. Its structure still reflects the mill’s traditional architecture, combined with a chic, sophisticated use of interior design.

Petra is also featured in the reception, the kitchen and the Atelier, used as a nexus. In this last room, a large table can be seen, designed with  Umbra iTOP Induction. Because it is portable, it can be moved into any of El Telar’s different areas.

If clients want an improvised open-air dance floor for their event, they can use El Telar’s rear courtyard. This is another beautifully designed area which also features a glass conservatory for private lunches or dinners.

In addition to the function rooms and facilities for celebrations of different kinds, El Telar also features other rooms where Umbra and Petra’s modular formats fit in to perfection.

long corridor links the interiors, running from the lounge, past the toilets to the bridal room: a private room, with its own bathroom, that leads directly into the conservatory.

As you can see, El Telar de Miguel Martí offers endless possibilities for a wide variety of ceremonies and events, accompanied by catering services second to none. Its top-quality cuisine is based on the use of local organic produce, with the emphasis on innovative culinary techniques.
