The idyllic island of Aruba is home to our featured property today – a home that has been completely refurbished using MDi by Inalco.
The project, undertaken by Suzanne Verbrugge Design in Tierra del Sol Resort & Golf, focused on addressing the client’s needs to create a warm, practical and light-filled space.
The owner was looking for a sense of spaciousness, with a concrete floor that would harmonize with the white and grey colour palette of the home. This led to the choice of the Ground collection for both the main flooring and the walls, whose cement finish conveys strength while at the same time adding an architectural touch to the project.
The use of large-format MDi slabs manages to create a continuous space that enhances the open-plan layout of the property. Light also plays an important role in separating the different living areas, as the natural light pouring into the home creates a greater feeling of space.
When it came to designing the kitchen, Petra iTOP was chosen for both the countertop and the tabletop. This finish, inspired by the natural formations of limestone rocks, adds the sense of warmth that the client was seeking.
The white furniture, combined with the décor and the natural wood features in all the rooms, provides the icing on the cake in the creation of this harmonious and welcoming atmosphere.
