Last week we travelled to Sâo Paolo to get to know the spectacular Goya Project. Today we are heading toward the Caribbean to the Dutch Island of Sint Maarten, where architect’s studio Arka Design has designed a series of deluxe apartments featuring MDi by Inalco.
Las Brisas is an exclusive apartment project with sea views where the versatility of Inalco‘s surfaces is clearly evident, since each apartment was customized, using different collections from the MDi range chosen by each of the clients.
In several apartments, a classic elegant marble look was chosen for the main flooring as a linking thread throughout the home. The collection that was selected, Touché iSLIMM, stands out for its beauty and singularity, infusing the project with a high dose of added value.
Storm was another collection that was chosen, in this case as the flooring on one of the terraces. When its natural stone design is combined with select furnishings by Paola Lenti, a stylish setting with a strong appeal is created.
Because neutral colours are always a safe bet, some of the owners of these marvellous apartments chose the Silk collection for differing rooms. For instance, Silk features in a Camel finish on a spectacular terrace surrounded by a huge garden, while its Gris finish was used in one of the kitchens.
For the creation of this elegant minimalist kitchen, Bloom iTOP was used for the walls, table top and countertop. The end result is a living space that evokes all the hardness and austere beauty of granite, a look that is never out of fashion in architecture and interior design.
