Storm: restful beauty in Sao Paulo

In Sao Paulo (Brazil), we discovered “Apartment JG”, a home refurbished in exquisite style by Alexandre Cardim Arquitetura e Design, using different collections from the MDi range by Inalco.

The revamped apartment, with its breathtaking panoramic views of the city, stands out for its big lobby, brimming with natural light. All visual barriers have been done away with, leading to the creation of an open light-filled space that combines the dining room, kitchen and living room. Alexandre Cardim chose MDi Storm for the flooring throughout the apartment. Its grey surface and slender white veins, with strong natural connotations, are perfect for creating elegant settings. Its large 150x150cm format infuses living spaces with an added sense of spaciousness, bringing out the full beauty of its select design.

Design products by well-known international brands were used for the project, lending the apartment a chic touch of distinction. The lighting by Flos and Dimlux and the furniture by Artefacto, Jader Almeida Design and Arquivo Contemporâneo fit in perfectly with Storm’s style and design, combining to create a modern apartment with a hip international air equally at home in New York, Tokyo or Paris.

In addition to Storm, Alexandre Cardim used the MDi Ice iTOP collection to create the kitchen countertop. The purity of its immaculate white surface gives the kitchen a perfect mix of functionality and discrete elegance.

We would like to thank Alexandre Cardim Arquitetura e Design for sharing this amazing design project with us.
